AquaScope
A monochrome aqua oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer for your terminal. It visualizes whatever your computer is playing.

What it is
AquaScope is a CAVA-inspired instrument panel built with
Textual. Run aquascope and it opens a live,
high-resolution analyzer for your system audio, with a waveform, a
log-frequency spectrum and signal telemetry, all in a high-contrast aqua
palette.
It runs entirely offline. No accounts, no network access, no telemetry.
Features
- Oscilloscope: stable zero-crossing trigger, Braille rendering at 2×4 dots per cell, phosphor-style persistence, and mid/side/vectorscope stereo views.
- Spectrum analyzer: log 30 Hz–20 kHz axis with a calibrated dBFS grid, and a choice of smooth FFT trace, RTA bars or a scrolling waterfall.
- Telemetry: peak and RMS per channel, crest factor, fundamental frequency, spectral centroid, phase correlation and a clipping counter.
- Picks your system-audio loopback device automatically and remembers it.
